This prototype is a response to urban outdoor living conditions and population counts (P.I.T. Counts) in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. It is a first attempt at creating humane living conditions and visibility for people without stable housing. The Nook responds to mobility, insulation, comfort, connectivity, and sidewalk footprint.
