Sémone Kessler
Sémone Kessler is a Los Angeles based designer who specializes in spaces that reinforce community and create social ecosystems. Creating permanent and temporary environments that engage users and encourage interaction is at the forefront of her design thinking. Sémone founded Made to Matter, a strategic impact and design firm that brings clients to their purpose. Matter works on projects that improve the lives of communities through design and strategy. People are the core of Matter’s process and they measure targets through impact and evolution.
She has previously worked with various leading organizations such as the Summit Series, Rapt Studio, and Gensler. At Summit Series, she helped design and buildout the Summit Outside event and then moved on to imagine and evolve the master plan for the Summit Powder Mountain project. At Rapt Studio she designed the creative workspace environments for companies such as Google, Vans, and Turner Broadcasting. Sémone has extensive experience building temporary mobile spaces and has designed installations and prototypes for companies such as Headspace, Ideapod, and Ubeam.
